About the School

学校について

Global talent to the world from New York.

As the second school among the 217 Japanese weekend schools worldwide, we have a long history of promoting an integrated school system from Kindergarten through High School.

We provide academic instruction in Japanese based on our own core curriculum, which complies with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s curriculum guidelines. We receive support from the Japanese government (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), including the dispatch of a Principal and an Assistant Principal and subsidies.

Comprehensive Education in Japanese

We offer a full Japanese-language curriculum from kindergarten through high school, following Japan’s official education guidelines. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction.

Emphasis on Japanese Culture

Students experience Japanese traditions throughout the year, including seasonal events such as mochi-making, calligraphy, and cultural festivals.

Strong Japanese Language Development

Students build practical skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through activities like calligraphy, writing contests, and speech presentations.

Japanese Sports Day in New York

A highlight of the year, our Sports Day brings students and families together to enjoy traditional Japanese-style activities and teamwork.

A Place to Grow with Friends

Through school events and activities, students build friendships and create meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.
